GB/T33635 Green Supply Chain System Certification
GB/T 33635-2017 "Green Manufacturing - Guidelines for Green Supply Chain Management in Manufacturing Enterprises" is a recommended national standard implemented in China on December 1, 2017, aimed at guiding manufacturing enterprises to implement green supply chain management. The development of this standard is aimed at integrating the concepts of green manufacturing and lifecycle into enterprise supply chain management activities, and promoting manufacturing enterprises to carry out green supply chain management work. Emphasize the implementation of environmental protection, resource conservation, and health and safety concepts throughout the entire process of product design, raw material procurement, production, transportation, storage, sales, use, and disposal.
Green supply chain is a coordinated and unified enterprise business process that integrates the concepts of green manufacturing, product lifecycle management, and extended producer responsibility on the basis of traditional supply chain. This process comprehensively considers the economic benefits and resource conservation of the enterprise, environmental protection, and human health and safety requirements. Implementing green supply chain management can not only enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, but also be an effective way to achieve green and sustainable development of enterprises.
The standard aims to guide manufacturing enterprises to establish a green supply chain management system, improve the supply chain system through effective planning, organization, and control of the entire product lifecycle and various links of the supply chain. The goal is to reduce the use of harmful substances, improve resource utilization, minimize negative impacts on the environment, and reduce harm to human health.
The standard adopts a process management approach, which regards the greenness of products as an important characteristic of product quality, and coordinates and integrates with the existing supply chain, quality, environment, occupational health and safety management system, and information management system of the enterprise in the implementation process to establish a supply chain management system that meets the requirements of green manufacturing.
Overall requirements for green supply chain:
Integrating the concept of green and sustainable development into the production and operation activities of enterprises, incorporating factors such as environmental, health and safety, energy conservation and consumption reduction, and resource recycling into the supply chain management system, and establishing a sound green supply chain management system.
Fully consider the requirements of laws, regulations, standards, and stakeholders.
Develop green supply chain management policies and quantifiable, measurable (or assessable) management objectives.
Establish an effective organizational structure and provide necessary human, financial, equipment, information, and knowledge resources, or integrate existing institutions and resources to meet the needs of green supply chain management.
Implement green design, analyze the green attributes of products, their lifecycle, and various links in the supply chain, formulate optimization and improvement goals and measures, and identify and classify the environmental attributes of products/materials.
Establish a green procurement process for enterprises and develop collaborative improvement measures for the supply chain.
Provide training on green supply chain management awareness, knowledge, and skills to employees, and promptly convey relevant information to all stakeholders in the supply chain, so that the requirements of green supply chain management are understood and supported by employees and stakeholders.
Establish management procedures and standards for various processes related to the product lifecycle.
Establish mechanisms and channels for green recycling and reuse of products.
Establish an information management platform to manage green supply chain related information for enterprises and their suppliers.
Regularly conduct performance evaluations of green supply chain management.
Add green supply chain management review and continuous improvement requirements to the management system.
The purpose of green supply chain:
Integrating the concepts of green manufacturing, product lifecycle management, and extended producer responsibility into the enterprise supply chain management system, identifying the green attributes of products and their lifecycle stages, and collaborating with suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, sellers, users, recyclers, and other entities in the supply chain to effectively manage the green attributes of products/materials. Reduce resource (including energy) consumption, environmental pollution, and harm to human health in the manufacturing, transportation, storage, and use of products/materials, promote resource recycling and reuse, and achieve green procurement and sustainable development for enterprises.
